This scene absolutely killed me. Because Ikki let the cat out of the bag about Korra having a huge crush on Mako. And it has to sting a bit to Asami, that the Avatar has a crush on her boyfriend, the boyfriend she likes a whole lot and is helping her so much, but so is the Avatar, and she may want to be mean to Korra and dislike her, but how can she? Korra’s helped her so much, given her a place to stay, along with the brothers, and so instead of being mean, she’s supportive. And this right here, when she tells Korra that she’s amazing… it hurt me, I think as much as it hurt Asami, because even though she might feel a little betrayed or hurt or jealous, she hears Korra’s words and says this to make sure that Korra knows she’s her friend. The character development of the two main women of this show, right here man.
